Superhero Phase

We are in a superhero phase. I think that Joe and I have played every sidekick and bad guy there is over the last 4 weeks. Also, Luke has taken to wearing his costumes to school. One day it's Batman, the next it is Spiderman, and we throw a little Bumblebee (from the Transformers) in there now and again to mix it up. He also likes to wear these costumes public places and gauge audience reaction. See the photo below for reference.

Additionally, Luke is still using his vivid imagination to have conversations with all kinds of things from stuffed animals to rocks. Engaging with him in these conversations defiantly stretches my imagination (and my ability to do voices!) Here he is posing with the dragon outside of the Children's Museum. Today he named him "Silver" and carried on a 15 minute conversation with him.

Lastly, he is getting even more engaged in art (which makes me so happy!). Yesterday, he was cuddling with me adn hugging and talking to the baby (in my tummy). I asked him to tell the baby what the best part of living at our house was. "The art projects!" he whispered to my stomach. So fun! Below is Luke painting at the Children's Museum today. Now off to build a robot out of recyclables!
