Luke is continuing to do well . . . as he has gotten older week by week his personality is starting to develop, which is very fun! He absolutely LOVES to eat - he keeps us busy with wanting a meal every couple of hours. He smiles and laughs and dances with his legs. He has a great pouty lip that he sticks out when he's not pleased. He has discovered his hands and for exercise time we place him in his downstairs crib and he attempts to take a swing at the toys suspended above his head. Mom and Dad make a game out of trying to make him laugh (he finds his Aunt Lauren particularly funny).
Dad is taking care of him over the summer as Mom works at her summer art camps. We've been on trips to Circuit City and Sports Authority. We have seen all three of the classic Star Wars films together. We watched a beaver make a dam on the Discovery Channel at Ultimate Electronics (let me just tell you that the salesmen in Ultimate Electronics had no idea what to do with a man walking into their store in the middle of the day pushing a stroller - they were so confused). Jess and I also took Luke to see the new Indiana Jones movie - which he slept or ate through most of.
Jessica and I are finally able to fully enjoy being new parents as everything medical with Luke has settled down and we can just enjoy the quiet moments together. We love this little guy more than we thought possible and we are so glad that he is doing well!
